herapy is an essential tool for self-discovery and healing.

Heal My Vibes (HMV) primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support individual clients and couples. CBT is a form of "talk therapy" that focuses on how your thoughts (cognitive) affect your behaviors. This thought-provoking therapy is a collaborative approach between client and therapist, that can help you to develop coping skills to manage different problems that may have brought you to therapy. A deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions and behaviors can lead to overall positive change.

HMV can implement Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to empower individuals and couples in achieving their goals as well. By focusing on and levering client strengths and resources, along with identifying solutions rather than dwelling on problems, clients can experience a positive and forward-looking therapeutic process. This collaborative approach offers goal-oriented interventions that enable clients to envision and work towards a desired future that can lead to overall personal growth."

HMV can also use Art Psychotherapy to support individual clients and couples. Art Psychotherapy is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that uses different modalities (painting, drawing, using chalk, using clay or collaging) to help clients channel their emotions. By putting emotions into a tangible form, it can help clients to communicate without speaking. For clients, it does not require technical skills or knowledge of the art world and does not include the term "good art" as art is what you make it.

I offer a relaxing, calm, non-judgmental, and confidential safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will encourage you to take the lead to eventually lead to a collaborative approach where we’ll work together to identify and address any challenges and obstacles that are preventing you from living your best life. There will be some tough times to face, but I will also be there to add a smile and a light-hearted joke when appropriate, because we know that laughter is the best medicine! Heal my Vibes believes you have the capacity to thrive, achieve your goals and move forward with confidence and will be there to support you every step of the way.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

 

 

 

A 1 on 1 session where full attention and focus is on you as an individual. In a safe and comfortable environment, time will be spent to build rapport, so that personalized insight, tools, tips and techniques can be given to you to work towards a desired change.

COUPLES THERAPY
(not interchangeable with couples counseling)

A session with a couple unit (2 people) where attention is focused on both individuals equally, the relationship and the problem the unit is to work on. In a safe environment, rapport will be built so that personalized insight, tools, tips and techniques can be given to resolve the units conflict. No sides will be taken and there is a "no secrets policy" where secrets will not be kept from each other.

SESSIONS

 

Maintaining a regular therapy session schedule can be a crucial component of achieving your wellness goals. At Heal my Vibes, it is recommended that clients attend therapy sessions on a weekly basis to help reach & achieve optimal results. This isn’t always feasible or necessary for everyone as session frequency will depend on your individual/couples needs and goals. We can discuss a frequency that works best for you (ie; weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions.)
